2 Hounds Design

2 Hounds Design began in 2003 in a spare bedroom. Alisha, whose background was in theoretical and applied physics, could not find the martingale collar she wanted for her two retired racing greyhounds, so she spent $500 on raw materials and made her own. The company now makes its collars, leashes and Freedom No-Pull harness with a team of more than fifty in a 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Indian Trail, North Carolina. It works closely with rescue and adoption groups, and many shelters and humane societies use the Freedom harness.
